There will be a tremendous need for volunteers at Gracehaven once we are open. Currently however, our need for volunteers is limited and relates mostly to fundraising and the renovation of the house that will serve as the shelter for the girls. To see volunteer needs for the renovation of the house, see our “Around the house” page.

Once Gracehaven is open and actively sheltering girls, we will need the help of volunteers to interact, mentor and teach the girls various hobbies such as knitting, creative writing, and artwork. Due to the nature of our work, we will only be using female volunteers for these positions. Please stay tuned to updates on this page for specific volunteer needs relating to interacting with the girls.

If you are interested in being a part of this work, please fill out a volunteer application and someone will contact you regarding training and volunteer dates. Contact Katie Talbott at ktalbott@gracehavenhouse.org for questions, or for more information on volunteer orientation and training dates.
