Our Beliefs

  1. We believe that all prostitution, whether “voluntary” or “involuntary” is in fact exploitation of those men and women who are involved. We believe that prostitution of young men and women under the age of 18 is an especially egregious form of sexual exploitation and certainly qualifies as human trafficking, and as such, should be abolished.
  2. We believe that those young men and women under age 18 who have been involved in prostitution are in fact victims of exploitation, and as such deserve rehabilitation from the mental and physical trauma of prostitution.
  3. We believe that the most complete form of rehabilitation for victims of prostitution must include spiritual rehabilitation in addition to emotional, physical, social, and educational rehabilitation.
  4. We believe that true spiritual rehabilitation begins when the person accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and continues throughout the remainder of their life through the leading and empowering of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
  5. We believe that the best expression of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him is to hear the story of Jesus in the context of genuine love and compassion tangibly shown through the meeting of their needs.
  6. We believe that each person has the right to accept or deny the story of Jesus, and that our obligation to meet their needs is not contingent upon their decision.
  7. We accept the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God and the only sufficient guide for the Christian life.
